Melody started her post bar career in practice at Kalokoni & Company where she had interned while pursuing a bar qualification at the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) in 2008. Upon being called to the bar, Melody continued her practice there before moving to Bango Associates to continue her practice interests in Dispute Resolution.

Melody heads our Dispute Resolution Department.

Melody’s practice focuses on the full spectrum of dispute resolution/ litigation matters including commercial litigation, criminal defence, employment disputes, land disputes. She has extensive experience in working in the Zambia region, having acted for mining concerns, multinationals, bidders, various corporates, and private individuals.

Melody’s expertise is also called for in mediation as regards board led internal investigations, corporate governance issues, general corporate advisory and strategic advice as trusted counsel as well as litigation representation to protect clients’ interests.
